Satasha L. Green, PhD

Satasha L. Green, PhD., is Copy Editor for Journal of African American Males in Education (JAAME). Green is an Associate Dean  & Associate Professor of the College of Education at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Dr. Green received her Ph.D. in Multicultural Special Education from The University of Texas at Austin. Her teaching and research interests are in Multicultural Education, Urban Education, and the Recruitment and Retention of culturally and linguistically diverse students in Teacher Education. She holds membership and offices in several educational and professional organizations; she has published in peer-reviewed and refereed journals, sits on several editorial boards for journals, and presents at local, regional, national, and international forums.
